Successful candidates must offer and maintain mobility between branch locations listed in the 'Job Available at Other Locations' section. As part of RBC's commitment, the ability and willingness to travel or work from any RBC location listed is a condition of employment.
What is the opportunity? This unique position calls on client‑focused sales expertise and natural problem‑solving skills to maximize each client interaction. You help clients with everyday banking, credit, and investment needs, adding value at critical moments and collaborating with RBC partners to help clients reach their goals.
What will you do?
Proactively engage with clients in all areas of the branch and community to uncover banking needs, provide help and advice, and identify sales and referral opportunities
Focus on client education and demonstration, leveraging technology to deliver memorable experiences, drive sales, and retain business
Respond to client‑initiated contact, assisting with a full range of financial transactions
Actively listen and engage clients to further understand their individual needs
Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems
Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals
What do you need to succeed? Must have
Mutual Funds accreditation, or willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)
Demonstrated passion for putting clients first and success in a hands‑on, target‑driven sales environment
Problem‑solving and people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and proactively connect with clients
Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for success
Digital literacy across a broad range of devices
Bilingualism in English and French is required
Nice to have
Strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships in the finance or service sector
