Senior Engineer– Guidewire ClaimCenter (Contract) Location

Anywhere in Canada, if close to an office of the client. 2‑day/week onsite required. Eligibility

Must be eligible to work in Canada. Roles and Responsibilities

Design&Development:

Lead the design and development of complex application features, acting as the technical lead for medium‑to‑large initiatives. Solution Architecture:

Collaborate with solution analysts and business stakeholders to produce technical designs that align with enterprise standards. SDLC Ownership:

Manage the software development process from user story decomposition and requirement review through to final delivery. Code Quality:

Conduct peer code and design reviews, providing coaching to junior team members to maintain high‑quality coding standards. Integration&Configuration:

Develop and configure software within existing enterprise platforms, managing dependencies across integrated systems and data. Quality Assurance:

Ensure robust delivery through the creation and execution of automated tests and the enhancement of existing testing frameworks. Must have skills / experience / qualifications

Guidewire Experience:

At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in Guidewire application development specifically on the ClaimCenter platform. Cloud Proficiency:

Experience with Guidewire Cloud is highly preferred; Guidewire Certified (Associate or ACE) is a significant asset. Technical Stack:

Solid skills in GOSU, web services, and database management. Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, TeamCity, Jira, and Confluence is an asset. Industry Knowledge:

Previous experience within the Insurance industry is a major plus. Soft Skills:

Proven ability to foster teamwork, excellent analytical problem‑solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences. Education

Post‑secondary degree or diploma in Software Development or a related field.
