Could you be the full-time Mechanical Lead Engineer in St-Bruno (QC), Canada we’re looking for?
Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical integration expertise in a cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You’ll play a key role in leading the development and integration of mechanical systems for train platforms. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams across the business (including design engineers, CAD designers, and suppliers), manage design requirements to ensure compliance,and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the domain.
You’ll specifically take care of supervising a design team (MDEs, CAD designers, and potentially other MLEs), but also ensure proper documentation, ERP integration, and design governance.
We’ll look to you for:
Leading mechanical installation development and integration activities
Managing design requirements and ensuring conformity for validation and certification
Driving interface definition, space allocation, and installation part design
Supervising design teams and fostering collaboration
Supporting first‑mounting train reviews and production phases
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the domain

BSc/MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related subject
Experience or understanding of mechanical engineering applied to railway products
Knowledge of design requirements, validation, and certification processes
Familiarity with interface definition, space allocation, and installation part design
A membership with OIQ, an asset
Bilingual French&English. Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset when dealing with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues and customers. In Quebec, French remains the main working language of our company.
