Shape the future of mobility with Alstom as a Vehicle Operability Engineer. Focus on developing concepts that enhance usability, diagnostic, and maintainability of rolling stock. In this role, you will leverage your engineering expertise to define operability concepts consistent with the Vehicle Operability Breakdown Structure (VOBS). You will analyze various operational scenarios from the user's perspective, focusing on aspects like maintenance and infrastructure. This position demands a combination of customer requirements consolidation and operational workshops to effectively bridge gaps in platform solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Consolidate customer and legal requirements for operation • Develop operational scenarios based on VOBS. • Identify gaps between platform solutions and requirements. • Plan and facilitate Vehicle Operability workshops. • Create operability concept documentation. Requirements: • Bachelor’s in electrical or mechanical engineering • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role • Relevant railway experience required • Fluent in French and English • Knowledge of DOORS and SysML is a plus.
