Accounting Process Analyst (Saint John)

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Accounting Process Analyst for a full-time opportunity in Saint John, NB . This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting skilled who enjoys improving processes, building structure, and creating clarity across financial operations. In this position, you'll play a key role in strengthening the finance function by documenting and streamlining full-cycle accounting processes , ensuring consistency, compliance, and operational excellence. Open to Permanent Residents or Canadian Citizens - Pay Rate: $22-$23/hour - Location: Saint John, NB - Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Job type: Temporary | Full-time Here's why you should apply: - Paid weekly accurate and on time - Strong health and safety programs - Medical and dental benefits once qualified - Free training programs - New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities: - Partner with accounting team members to document and map end-to-end financial processes - Develop clear, user-friendly Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for training and daily use - Analyze workflows across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), reconciliations, and month-end close - Identify opportunities to standardize and improve accounting processes - Ensure all documentation supports internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate operational processes into structured documentation - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and consistency Qualifications and Skills: - Accounting designation (or working towards one) is required - Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires candidates to have resided in Canada for a minimum of 10 consecutive years - Post-secondary education in Accounting - Minimum 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience - Strong understanding of AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and month-end processes - Proven experience creating SOPs, process documentation, or workflow mapping - Excellent writing, documentation, and analytical skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to work across multiple teams - Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada Are you interested in this position?
