Associate Finance Quality and Assurance Analyst (Saint John)

This role is based within our Finance Shared Services team at our head office in Saint John, New Brunswick. The Quality and Assurance team plays a key role in maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures across the organization. Reporting to the Finance Quality and Assurance Manager, this position supports the execution and continuous improvement of financial control processes, with exposure to compliance programs, audit support, and data-driven analysis. Responsibilities The primary responsibility of this role is to support the execution and maintenance of key financial policies and procedures through: - Supporting the delivery of company-wide finance policies through analysis, monitoring, and follow-up with stakeholders - Performing data analysis to identify discrepancies, variances, or non-compliance and determining appropriate actions - Assisting in the identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and strengthen controls - Liaising with operational and finance teams to gather information, clarify issues, and communicate findings - Supporting internal and external audit activities through the collection and validation of required documentation - Completing reconciliations and analysis to support period-end and year-end processes, as required - Supporting ad-hoc projects and initiatives within the Quality and Assurance team Qualifications - Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field - 0–2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, audit, or analytics - Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity - Effective written and verbal communication skills - Self-motivated with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset - Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in process optimization - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced environment - Commitment to ongoing professional development Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pctdc
