Role Description This is a contract role for a Piano Teacher located on-site in Rothesay, NB for Sep 2026-Jun 2027. Responsibilities include offering personalized piano instruction to students of various skill levels, from beginners to intermediate learners. The Piano Teacher will develop lesson plans, introduce students to music theory, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to support improvement. The role also involves fostering a positive and engaging learning atmosphere, preparing students for recitals, and nurturing a love for music. The studio will take care of recruitment, scheduling, money, communication with student students as well as the planning and execution of recitals and any other administrative tasks that may arise. Qualifications Proficiency in Piano Playing and robust foundational knowledge of Piano Experience and expertise in Piano Education and Music Education Understanding of Music Theory for comprehensive teaching Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively teach and motivate students Patience and adaptability for teaching students of varying abilities and learning styles Previous experience in music instruction or teaching is an asset though not required Formal music training or certification in piano performance and/or education is preferred Compensation Compensation runs between $30-$45/hour based on the successful candidates experience and training.
