Hotel Housekeeper (Weekdays, Part-Time) (Saint John)

A hotel housekeeper plays a vital role in providing a clean and welcoming stay for our valued guests. If you are great at cleaning, love to take pride in your beautiful work and can work positively as a team member, you may be a perfect fit for us! Tasks involved: - Strip dirty linens/terry and remove trash - Disinfect & clean the bathroom thoroughly - Make beds with fresh linens - Wipe all bedroom surfaces (dusting, polishing & removing stains) - Stock towels and restock amenities - Straighten all items and furniture - Sweep, Mop and Vacuum floors - Punch in the code to mark the room as clean - Make note of maintenance issues - Label and bring down lost & found items Availability: We are looking for a candidate that is available to work: Between 9am-5pm on weekdays (must be available to work Thursdays and Fridays at the minimum, but additional days can be added during the weekday, and weekends are optional). This role requires physical agility and the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Physical ability to easily bend, crouch, kneel and squat is required to accomplish repetitive tasks. If you are able to pay great attention to details and are well organized, you will be a well fit for this position. Must be able to conduct oneself in a professional demeanor and follow instructions well. Our team members are of the utmost importance assets in our establishment.
