Hiring a Part-time Hotel Housekeeper (Quispamsis)

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you’ll help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space for every guest who walks through our doors. Experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person who takes pride in their work. What you’ll be doing: - Clean and prepare guest rooms to hotel standards (making beds, changing linens, etc.) - Sweep, mop, and maintain floors - Dust and wipe down furniture and surfaces - Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture - Clean and sanitize bathrooms and other high-touch areas - Restock towels, toiletries, and guest supplies - Keep linen closets organized and well-stocked - Handle lost and found items carefully and report them properly - Respond to guest requests in a friendly and helpful way - Help keep public areas like hallways, lobby, and restrooms clean - Take out garbage and keep waste areas tidy - Assist with deep cleaning and special projects when needed - Report any maintenance or safety concerns - Use cleaning products and equipment safely What we’re looking for: - Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus - Strong attention to detail - Ability to work independently and manage your time well - Physically able to handle lifting (up to 20 lbs), bending, and being on your feet - Basic knowledge of cleaning products and methods - Positive communication and teamwork skills - Reliable, punctual, and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment Who you are: - Dependable and honest - Takes pride in doing a job well - Friendly and guest-focused - Flexible and willing to help where needed - Organized and proactive Why join us: You’ll be part of a supportive, respectful team that values your work.
