Machine Operator (Saint John)

Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints Operation of the steel fabrication equipment: band saws, CNC punches, shears, CNC drill and burning machines Lift or move steel materials into position using overhead cranes Clean and maintain work space Requirements 1 to 3 years experience in steel fabrication setting considered an asset Flexibility to work night shift on rotations Completion of high school CSA approved steel toe boots As a member of the OSCO Construction Group, Ocean Steel & Construction Ltd. offers a comprehensive compensation package beginning after completing forty-five (45) working shifts, including seniority with Shopmens Local Unit No.809, overtime hours worked paid at time & a half; double time on weekends, health and dental coverage, life insurance and RRSP options.
