Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer (P.Eng.) to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will lead and support electrical engineering projects from concept development through detailed design, construction support, and project completion. This role requires strong technical expertise, project coordination skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects - Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports - Perform electrical load calculations, equipment sizing, and power distribution design - Coordinate designs with multidisciplinary engineering teams - Conduct site visits, field reviews, and construction inspections as required - Review contractor submissions and provide construction support - Ensure compliance with applicable Ontario codes, standards, and regulatory requirements - Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables - Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders - Provide technical mentorship to junior engineering staff where appropriate Qualifications Required: - Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario through Skilled Engineers Ontario - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution - Minimum 5+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience in consulting, industrial, or commercial projects - Strong understanding of Ontario electrical codes and engineering standards - Experience with electrical design software and CAD platforms - Excellent technical writing and communication skills - Strong organizational and project management abilities - Valid Ontario driver’s licence and ability to travel to project sites when required Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with industrial plant projects - Knowledge of power systems, lighting design, controls, and building electrical systems - Project management experience - Familiarity with multidisciplinary consulting environments Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $72,298.07-$90,000.00 per year Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o44au
