St. Clair Child & Youth Services, Lead Agency for Children’s Mental Health in Sarnia-Lambton, is currently seeking a: Communications & Fundraising Coordinator Internal Job Posting 0.5FTE Permanent Position (17.5 Hours/Week) 2026-10 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 1. A two (2) year diploma in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. 2. One (1) to two (2) years of experience relevant to marketing, communications, fundraising, event planning, or volunteer management. SKILLS: · Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey the organization's message and engage with various stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, media, and the general public. · Solid understanding of fundraising principles and best practices, including donor cultivation, solicitation strategies, grant writing, and event planning. · Proficiency in developing and implementing marketing strategies to enhance the organization's visibility and brand awareness. Knowledge of branding guidelines, content marketing, social media management, and digital marketing techniques. · Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, board members, and other stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate relationships, network, and engage individuals in the organization's mission. · Effective organizational and project management skills to plan, execute, and evaluate fundraising campaigns, events, and communication initiatives. Capacity to handle multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and meet fundraising goals. · Familiarity with communication tools such as content management systems, email marketing platforms, social media management tools, and donor management databases. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. · Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with program staff, marketing teams, volunteers, and external partners. Ability to coordinate cross-functional efforts and ensure consistent messaging across different departments. · Innovative and creative thinking to develop engaging content, campaigns, and fundraising initiatives that captivate the audience and inspire action. Ability to think outside the box and generate new ideas to attract donors and supporters. · Understanding the unique challenges and opportunities within the non-profit sector and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
