Locum Veterinarian (Brights Grove)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to cover a vacation in the month of July. Accommodations can be provided if coming from out of the area. Part of the month or the full month of July. Duties - Examine animals to diagnose their health issues and determine appropriate treatments - Perform surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, and other soft tissue surgeries - Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as prescribed - Conduct laboratory tests and interpret results to inform diagnosis and treatment plans - Provide client education on animal health, nutrition, and preventive care - Maintain detailed medical records for all patients - Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations Experience - Veterinary degree from an accredited institution is required - Valid veterinary license in the state of practice - Laboratory experience is highly desirable to facilitate accurate diagnostics and testing procedures - Solid communication skills and a compassionate approach toward animals and clients are essential This temporary position would allow you to work and travel. Bright's Grove is a beautiful area close to the beach and full of outdoor adventure opportunies.
