SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Mammoet is hiring a

Heavy Duty/Crane Mechanic (310T) Apprentice

to join our team in Sarnia, Ontario.

Salary: $28.28-$45.24/hour

*Please note this is a unionized position*

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Ensuring the condition of equipment is in line with the applicable standards and instructions

Performing all-round maintenance and repair services

Carrying out work to a high quality, including inspection, prevention, renovation and modification

Completing new-build projects when requiredWorking on different types of mechanical (auxiliary) equipment related to diverse power transmission systems

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Professional level experience in maintenance operations, driver and control, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic systems. Basic level experience in rigging operations and equipment

English, basic proficiency verbal and written

Safety training and certification to Mammoet standards

Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining

Secondary education in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering considered an asset
