Medical Office Assistant (temporary) - Clinic
Location: 600 de Maisonneuve Boulevard West, Montreal, H3A 3J2 (Hybride - 3 days at the clinic + 2 days remote) Status: Temporary, full-time (37.5 hours/week) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (must be available between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. based on operational needs) Be part of an innovative team using cutting-edge technology! Here’s the impact you’ll have and what we’ll accomplish together: The medical office assistant will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks, delivering exceptional customer service to high-profile executive patients, and working as part of a team to achieve departmental goals.Responsibilities
Schedule appointments for patients Handling requests from assigned physicians Sorting messages for physicians or nurses Contacting external medical clinics to schedule follow-up appointments for patients Occasionally following up on missing test results Performing any other related administrative tasksQualifications
High school diploma completed Minimum one year of customer service experience required Bilingualism (spoken and written) is essential Basic knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Attention to detail and precision Knowledge of medical terminology (an asset) Polite and courteous demeanorFast execution and discretion Respect for confidentiality Reliability and punctuality Good stress and priority management Ability to multitask Neat and professional appearance Intermediate knowledge of English is required because you will on a regular basis interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this posistion's main responsibilities given its provincial scope.Salary Range: $20-$37 Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 0% Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, and experience.
