Recycling&Waste Side Load Truck Driver - ($26.00/Hour), Sarnia

Job Summary Operate a side load waste collection/recycling vehicle to safely collect curbside materials, complete assigned routes on time, perform vehicle inspections, and provide excellent customer service.

Position Description

Operate waste collection/recycling vehicle;

Load curbside materials into the truck;

Observe safe work practices;

Provide excellent customer service in accordance with company policies;

Ensure assigned routes are successfully completed in a timely and safe manner;

Conduct pre and post trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

Skills&Qualifications

Valid Ontario DZ driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR;

Minimum one year experience driving with DZ licence OR an AZ MELT graduate from an accredited driving school;

Ability to lift up to 50lbs;

Successful completion of pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing (required);

Successful completion of a criminal background check;

Punctual, reliable, team player.
