As a Research Technician at Lambton College, you will play a crucial role in supporting research projects and initiatives across various disciplines. Assisting faculty and researchers in the planning, setup, and execution of experiments and research projects. Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instrumentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety protocols. Collecting, analyzing, and recording experimental data and results, and preparing reports and presentations for dissemination.Supporting students and faculty in conducting research activities, including providing training and guidance on laboratory techniques and procedures. Collaborating with external partners and industry stakeholders on research collaborations and projects. Contributing to the development and implementation of research protocols, procedures, and methodologies.Education and Qualification
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as science, engineering, or technology. A master's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred, but not required. Previous experience working in a research laboratory or academic setting is an asset. Strong technical skills and proficiency in laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and data analysis.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
