Operator for Industrial Waste Cleanup, Sarnia

Become an Industrial Cleaning Operator with Republic Services, focusing on industrial waste removal and spill response. Utilize various equipment while ensuring safe and efficient operations.

In this role, you will work both on-site at customer facilities and at our operational base, handling loading and off-loading tasks. You are expected to operate both light and heavy equipment, manage vehicle inspections, and maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas. Adaptability and attention to detail will be key in this position.

Key Responsibilities:• Operate machinery for waste cleanup, including vacuum trucks • Manage spill responses and emergency clean-up tasks • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Keep accurate logs and maintain equipment regularly • Assist in general housekeeping and site management

Requirements:• Experience with equipment like tanker trucks and forklifts • Strong emphasis on detail and thoroughness • Capability to prioritize diverse tasks • Valid driver’s license might be required • Proficiency with hand tools and shop instruments
