Pharmacist, Sarnia

About the Position This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing, and delivering prescriptions accurately and on time. The role includes ensuring adequate inventory levels, counseling patients, providing friendly and proactive interactions with internal and external customers, and creating awareness and education through public relations.

What You’ll Do

Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients.

Ensure medication and over‑the‑counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patients’ needs.

Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive manner.

Create awareness and educate customers through public relations activities such as public health days and clinics.

Administer vaccinations and other activities legislated by the Pharmacist Scope of Practice Program.

Provide pharmaceutical professional services such as medication reviews.

Provide timely and positive resolution to patients’ needs and doctors’ requests or issues.

Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy.

Provide ongoing training for all new and existing pharmacy colleagues.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Class A Pharmacist licence (Ontario).

Proof of OCP licensure with application (OCP License number) required.

Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism.

Excellent leadership and performance‑management skills.

Proven ability to build business using community‑based marketing strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem‑solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans.

Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of the HealthWatch Pharmacy computer system.

Salary Range Pay: $44.00– $60.60 per hour.
