\*Practically speaking, you will be responsible for the following:\*

\* Dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently

\* Providing medication management therapy and patient counselling

\* Collaborating with health care providers to improve patient care

\* Monitoring drug interactions and ensuring patient safety

\* Overseeing pharmacy technicians and support staff

\* Conducting minor ailment assessments

\* Vaccinations

\*Qualifications:\*

\* Member of and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists/licensed to practice pharmacy in Ontario

\* Experience working as a pharmacist, preferably in a retail pharmacy environment directly interacting with customers

\* Experience working for an independent, small business would be an asset

\* Strong computer skills, including MS Office (especially Excel for inventory, scheduling etc.)

\* Knowledge of retail pharmacy billing and accounting practices, and familiarity with pharmacy operations

\* Injection certification completed or willingness to complete
