Rehab Assistant (Job Number: 26002903) Primary Location: ON-Sarnia Employee Type: Casual Pay Rate: $19– $25 per hour Job Summary

Support adult and/or pediatric clients in achieving their maximum potential through patient‑centered rehabilitation programs, as directed by a regulated health‑care practitioner. Responsibilities

Implement personalized rehabilitation programs in collaboration with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists and speech‑language pathologists. Promote maximum independence for clients at home, in the community, and in work settings. Conduct engaging exercise programs and group exercise classes.Implement effective behavioral interventions tailored to each client’s needs. Facilitate and supervise activities of daily living, social, educational and vocational reintegration plans. Implement cognitive therapy programs to enhance clients’ cognitive abilities. Promote and organize enjoyable leisure activities.Attend case conferences and team meetings to ensure comprehensive care. Provide transportation for clients safely as needed (with valid insurance coverage). Apply infection prevention practices to maintain a safe environment. Participate in ongoing internal and external continuing education activities.Complete additional tasks as requested to support client care. Qualifications

Completion of a recognized Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Rehabilitation Assistant College Program. Or University degree in kinesiology and/or possession of RRP or CCRC designation. Enjoy working with people in a fast‑paced customer service environment. Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills; can handle difficult situations objectively. Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team. Self‑directed and able to take direction. Proficient with personal computers and secure email. Valid driver’s licence and auto insurance. Benefits
