Senior Mechanical Engineer
to lead the design, integration, and optimization of customized hardware systems powering SGA’s
AI-driven drones and 4D LiDAR sensors . This role blends mechanical engineering expertise with the hands-on implementation of AI algorithms on drone hardware—delivering real-time performance, efficiency, and reliability in the field. You will play a critical role in building the next generation of drone platforms that bring
AI innovation directly into agriculture . Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize
mechanical and hardware systems for AI-enabled drones and sensors. Integrate AI algorithms
into customized hardware platforms to enable real-time detection, analysis, automation, and decision-making. Collaborate with AI engineers and software developers
to ensure seamless interaction between hardware, firmware, and AI models. Lead
prototyping, testing, and validation
of drone hardware and AI algorithm integration in both lab and field environments. Optimize system performance
for durability, efficiency, and scalability in agricultural applications. Document designs, test results, and workflows , ensuring reproducibility and continuous improvement. Stay ahead of
emerging technologies
in UAV hardware, sensors, and AI integration. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field . Proven experience in
mechanical and hardware design for drones, UAVs, or robotic systems . Strong understanding of
AI/ML algorithm integration with hardware platforms . Proficiency in
Python, C++, or embedded programming
for hardware–AI integration. Familiarity with
sensors, actuators, and real-time control systems . Hands-on experience with
prototyping tools and CAD software
(e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Strong problem-solving skills with close attention to detail. Ability to work
independently and collaboratively
in a fast-paced startup environment. This isn’t just mechanical design—you’ll be engineering custom drone platforms that merge hardware and AI to transform global agriculture.
