Sr Engineer, Mechanical Saskatoon

Application Information In this role, you will: Solve complex technical problems using formal techniques to evaluate systems, equipment, and failures. Ensure that design work is prepared in accordance with Camecos processes, procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements. Develop and refine asset-specific strategies to improve equipment health and prevent or eliminate equipment failure. Work regularly with trades personnel and their leadership to support short- and long-term maintenance activities. Provide technical support for recent or modified site equipment, process changes, and drawings. Compile data and prepare technical reports or coordinate technical reporting as required for regulatory submission. Support site capital and expense projects, ensuring project deliverables are met in terms of scope, schedule, and budget. Required Bachelors degree in mechanical or industrial engineering; seven to 12 years of relevant industry experience; equivalent combination of education and work experience considered; eligible for registration with the Association of Qualified Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS); solid communication and problem-solving skills; and work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft. Recommended familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and technologies; experience in mining, mills, process plants, and underground environments; experience using computerized maintenance management systems, preferably SAP; and knowledge of rotating equipment, pressure vessels, atmospheric tanks, ASME B31.3 code, API tank code, welding standards, and CSA B51 code.
