We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Medical Office Assistant/Administrative Office Assistant to join our team. Learn more about Gentle Procedures Saskatchewan: Learn more about reVIBE MD: Requirements - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Exceptional patient management skills with high degree of professionalism and integrity. - Positive attitude, pleasant and professional manner in person and over the phone. - Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills. - Punctual, proactive, reliable and flexible. - Ability to multitask and work efficiently - Strong attention to detail - Ability to take initiative, anticipate potential problems/conflicts and take appropriate action. - Typing speed of 45+ wpm. Education/Experience: - High School, College diploma or equivalent. - Medical Office Assistant and/or Medical Administrative Assistant certification is a major asset. - Experience in a medical assistant role or healthcare setting is expected. - Experience working with Accuro EMR or similar EMR systems is required. - Outstanding customer relationship management skills. Key Responsibilities: - Clinic preparation for clinic days including assisting the physician and other office assistant duties as assigned. - During clinic, escort patients to exam rooms, prepare patients and rooms for procedures, and assist the physician in procedures, including pre and post care instructions. Assisting with clinic day duties as assigned. - Responsible for sterilizing and cleaning equipment and exam rooms. - Inventory maintenance and ordering/receiving of medical supplies with vendors, keeping exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, and maintaining instruments. - Function as primary interface between patient, provider and medical team while ensuring the smooth running of all clinical work for patient/physician encounters. This includes providing information to patients, both verbally and through written communications. - Schedule patient appointments, manage schedule, answering phones, checking office emails, online bookings, and addressing inquiries. - Scanning and filing medical documents into EMR. - Collecting payment information. - Other administrative support duties as assigned. Job Type: Part- Time. Approximately 8-10 hours biweekly. Must be able to commit to working alternate (biweekly) Friday's on our clinic and procedure days.
