Warehouse Associate (Saskatoon)

Direct Fencing Supply, a leading manufacturer/distributor of fencing products is seeking a Yard Associate. This position performs an array of functions including pulling and preparing accurate orders for customers, safely using a forklift to load/unload trucks, and maintaining yard stock in a clean and organized manner. We are always looking for people with the drive to learn and determination to succeed. - Starting hourly wage of $16/hr. - Monday through Friday schedule, day shift - Job is part of the Canada Summer Jobs program. The hours will be M-F 9:-4:30. The start date will be Early June and run for approx. 116 weeks. Responsibilities - Works inside the warehouse and or outside in the yard depending on need - Accurately loads trucks for outgoing shipments - Inbound material receiving and put away - Able to complete work orders and receiving documents accurately - Pulls and prepares orders, packaging for shipment - Rotates yard stock and safely moves materials using a forklift - Maintains clean and safe working environment - Works with team to ensure branch success and provides excellent customer service Qualifications - 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position. Not required but an asset. - Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60lbs) - Forklift experience highly desired - Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions - Experience with fence materials a plus Pay: From $16.00 per hour Ability to commute/relocate: - Saskatoon, SK S7R 1C7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Licence/Certification: - Class 5 Licence (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pj8h3
