Wood is seeking a Building Services / HVAC Engineer to join our Mining & Minerals business focusing on designing and delivering mining projects globally. This opportunity is onsite at our Vancouver, Saskatoon, Trail or Burlington office. The Role Wood currently has an exciting opportunity for a Building Services / HVAC Engineer to join our Mining & Minerals business team. The role will be reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager; this position is in our Saskatoon, SK office. Expected Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering Familiarity with HVAC design codes, calculations, equipment selection and specification development Proven experience in applying ASHRAE Standards, ACGIH, Canadian Building Code, National Plumbing Code, CSA, ASME as it pertains to engineering design of large industrial projects Professional Engineer in Canada with the ability to register in the province of Saskatchewan is required Mining and metal processing, or similar experience Excellent communication skills Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organizational skills Desirable 5+ years of related design experience is an asset Proven expertise using HAP and Fathom.
