Electrical Engineering Technologist (Saskatoon)

Responsibilities Design, inspect, commission, test, maintain and repair electrical power and control systems, generators, transformers, breakers, protection relays and other equipment. Read technical electrical, mechanical and instrumentation drawings. Serve as point of contact for clients and maintain and develop client service relationships. Provide field services and support to internal/external clients. Provide operations and reliability engineering support for a variety of industrial and utility clients. Write proposals and technical reports related to studies or service calls. Oversee and manage small projects. Requirements Diploma or degree from a post-secondary education institute in a technical field (electrical or mechanical related) that allows for professional affiliations. Specialized expertise in a particular area of your field of practice. Time management and organizational skills to balance field and office work commitments. Willingness to travel and work extensive hours to maintain strict timelines. Solid understanding of the business and client workplace. Physically fit to lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs.
