Security Guard (Sault Ste. Marie)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to loss prevention strategies. Duties - Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. - Utilize CCTV and surveillance equipment to observe activities and detect suspicious behavior. - Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols. - Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any irregularities or hazards. - Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the facility. - Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism. - Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors as needed. Qualifications - Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred. - Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is advantageous. - Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. - Must be physically fit, capable of standing for long periods, and able to perform light lifting as required. - A valid security license may be required based on local regulations.
