Marketing Assistant POS26242 Based: Somerset West Salary R15 -18 000.00 pm The Marketing Assistant plays a key supporting role in executing marketing activities, coordinating campaigns, and managing day-to-day departmental operations. This role blends administration, logistical coordination, and basic design assistance to ensure smooth workflows and consistent brand visibility.Requirements&Skills• Experience: 1 3 years in a Marketing Assistant, Coordinator, Administrative, or similar support role. • Education: Relevant qualification or tertiary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is advantageous. • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital communication/scheduling platforms. Experience with Canva or similar basic design tools is a plus.• Core Competencies: Strong organizational abilities, high attention to detail, multitasking skills, and excellent written/verbal communication. • Attributes: Proactive, reliable, adaptable to fast-paced environments, and a collaborative team player. Key Responsibilities Marketing Administration&Coordination• Support the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns and tasks. • Assist with coordinating email marketing campaigns and digital communication. • Set up and coordinate Zoom meetings, webinars, and online training sessions. • Package, track, and distribute promotional items and marketing materials.Operations&Design Support• Manage the marketing storeroom, promotional inventory, and digital asset filing systems. • Assist with creating and editing basic promotional materials and graphics for social media, presentations, and internal communications. • Ensure all collateral remains strictly aligned with established brand identity standards.• Provide general logistical and administrative support to improve overall team efficiency.
