There is no option to work remotely.Work setting• Factory or plant • Willing to relocate • Industrial facility or establishment • Warehouse Responsibilities Tasks • Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse • Empty trashcans and other waste containers• Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment • Perform minor repairs onappliances• Perform safety and security checks • Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures • Work with minimal supervision • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses • Forklift Operator CertificationExperience and specialization Equipment and machinery experience• Forklift Area of work experience • Cleaning • Production Equipment • Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers • Polishing machines • Power tools • Security system Additional information Security and safety: Criminal record checkWork conditions and physical capabilities:• Work under pressure • Repetitive tasks • Handling heavy loads • Physically demanding • Bending, crouching, kneeling Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability: Dependability, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Flexibility, Initiative, Judgement, Organized, ReliabilityBenefits: Other benefits - Paid time off (volunteering or personal days) Who can apply for this job?
