Quality Control Inspector - Manufacturing (Scarborough)

We are currently seeking a QC Inspector to fulfill our growing demands of production. In this role, the candidate will provide support to the Production Department in various QC duties. The QC Inspector will work with the department to achieve high quality in job production and complete assigned projects under tight deadlines. Job Responsibilities: - Principles of checking and QC method - Thorough knowledge of product requirements - Random variation of processes and identification of the assignable causes - Color matching, visual check. - Perform and report in-process inspections - Able to use a caliper, micrometer, force gauge, and other basic inspection tools Job Requirements: - Familiar with printed labels, manufacturing processes, quality inspection techniques. - Able to use inspection instruments such as caliper, micrometer, force gauge. - One-year work experience in the printing industry is an asset - Able to judge the product acceptance - Able to write a non-conforming report - Computer skills: Word, Excel, Powerpoint - Shift work is required Work Remotely - No We are an equal prospect employer and are committed to providing accommodations for applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment process, in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
