Pharmacist (Scarborough)

Summary We are looking for a community pharmacist who is willing to commit to our team for a very flexible, full time, consulting role. Location Scarborough, Ontario About the role This position is To be our overlapping pharmacist focussing on consulting and patient care. We are looking for someone who is a team member and who will become an integral member of our staff. Key Responsibilities - Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed according to regulations and the highest quality of care is provided - Overlapping pharmacist role, focussing on consulting, medication reviews, and patient care - Advise, supervise, and lead dispensary staff as required - Present a professional image and provide friendly customer service to foster relationship building with our clients - Practice pharmacy within the College's Scope of Practice and guidelines for providing pharmaceutical care - Ensure that narcotics are properly received and recorded at the dispensary - Provide, document, and bill all pharmaceutical interventions/opinions/services as appropriate - Document patient counseling in Fillware for all prescriptions as required by provincial regulations. - Assist in ensuring timely and accurate completion of third party processing, billing, re-submissions, and reporting - Protect patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with regulationsQualifications & Job Requirements: - Must be licensed in Part A of the Ontario College of Pharmacists register and in good standing - Must be reliable and consistent for shifts - A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail - Exemplary verbal and written communication skills - Superior interpersonal skills, with a commitment to provide exceptional customer service - Familiarity with Fillware is an asset, but willing to train candidate if needed - Highly organized, takes initiative, and has excellent problem solving and decision-making skills Job Type: Full time Pay: From $45.00 per hour Licence/Certification - pharmacy licence (member of Ontario College of Pharmacist) (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o2xca
