Embroidery Machine Operator (Scarborough)

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Embroidery Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating embroidery machines to produce high-quality custom designs on various textiles. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments and possess a strong attention to detail to ensure precision and efficiency in production. Responsibilities - Set up and operate embroidery machines according to design specifications and production schedules - Load fabrics, thread colors, and design files accurately to ensure quality output - Monitor machine operation throughout production runs, making adjustments as needed - Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on embroidery equipment to minimize downtime - Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring designs are correctly embroidered without defects - Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency - Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines Experience - Previous experience operating embroidery machines is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate - Manufacturing or warehouse experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with industrial equipment and safety protocols - Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality issues promptly - Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and craftsmanship - Basic mechanical skills are a plus, along with the willingness to learn new techniques and procedures Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour Benefits - Casual dress - On-site parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o3jf8
