Live-in Caregiver (Scarborough)

Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. As a caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals in their homes, ensuring their well-being and comfort. Duties: - Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing - Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises - Administer medications as prescribed - Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment - Prepare and serve nutritious meals - Engage clients in activities that promote mental stimulation and well-being Qualifications: - Experience in caregiving or related field preferred - Knowledge of dementia care, patient care, hospice care, and medication administration is a plus - Ability to perform heavy lifting if required - Familiarity with assisted living facilities and meal preparation - Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with clients - Strong communication and interpersonal skills This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.
