Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties - Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service - Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards - Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene compliance - Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area - Ensure all food served meets quality standards and presentation expectations - Train new staff members on food preparation, safety protocols, and service techniques - Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus that align with customer preferences and industry trends - Serve as a leader in the kitchen, fostering teamwork and a positive work environment Qualifications - Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting - Supervising experience or team management skills highly preferred - Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures - Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to manage a busy kitchen environment - Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with staff and management - Knowledge of restaurant management principles is advantageous - Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail - Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences This position is integral to delivering outstanding culinary experiences while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
