Warehouse Manager (Scarborough)

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Manager to join our client's team in Scarborough, ON. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years' experience who is hands on and has experience developing company policies and processes. PERMANENT FULL-TIME | MONDAY TO FRIDAY 9AM-5PM | COMPETITIVE SALARY + BENEFITS + PTO Duties - Responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure the smooth day to day functioning of the warehouse. - Optimize processes to enhance productivity and efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality. - Work with Operations team to develop and implement strategic plans for inventory management, storage and distribution. - Oversee inventory control, order picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness. - Utilize ERP systems and warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and facilitate supply chain operations. - Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to optimize procurement and distribution workflows. - Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, safety standards, and cost reduction initiatives. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including proper heavy lifting techniques and forklift operation. - Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to streamline operations and resolve issues promptly. Skills & Requirement: - 3-5 years' experience in warehouse management preferably in logistics and/or distribution - Hands-on leadership experience and ability to be involved in daily operations - Entrepreneurial attitude - Robust knowledge of warehouse operations including OHSA/WSIB standards - Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written - Valid Forklift license - Physically able to lift up to 75lbs. - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation ProTemps is a respected Canadian-owned staffing agency specializing in Temporary, Contract & Permanent placements.
