Position: Part-Time Residential Counselor (Union Position) Rate of Pay: $23.16/hour Current Location: Scarborough (Main Intersection: Old Kingston Rd and Lawson Rd) Hours and Days of Work Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to 11pm Qualifications - Diploma or degree program in a related field - At least one year of experience working with individuals that have developmental disabilities - Must have experience dealing with challenging behaviors because of the possibility of working with aggressive people supported - Must have a valid G driver’s licence - Strong written and oral communication as well as problem-solving skills. - Must have the ability to work as a team and independently - French language is an asset Job Duties - To work hands-on with individuals that have developmental disabilities in a residential environment - This is currently a co-op residential group home. This position is to work one-to-one with a high needs female people supported.
