Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our busy kitchen team. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of food preparation and service, delivering high-quality dishes to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong food handling skills, and experience in a restaurant or food service setting. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist with food preparation according to established recipes and standards Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times Assist with plating dishes for service, ensuring consistency and accuracy Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including prep stations and cooking areas Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tasks simultaneously Ensure all food is stored properly and inventory levels are maintained Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent guest experiences Qualifications Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role in a restaurant or food service setting preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong understanding of meal preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen operations Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration Serving experience or familiarity with restaurant service is a plus Food industry knowledge including kitchen experience is highly desirable Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour Benefits Flexible schedule In office parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ok6rn
