Supervised ABA Therapist (Scarborough)

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Therapists to support children with developmental and behavioral challenges. In this role, you will work closely with children in a clinical or home setting to implement individualized treatment plans that promote positive behavior and skill development. The ideal candidate will have a robust interest in special education, patient care, and making a meaningful difference in children's lives. Duties - Implement evidence-based ABA therapy techniques tailored to each child's needs - Collect and record data on client progress and behavior to inform treatment adjustments - Assist with daily activities and provide support to children during therapy sessions - Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency in treatment approaches - Administer medications as prescribed, following proper procedures and documentation protocols - Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment conducive to learning and growth - Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy Requirements - Prior experience working with children, especially in special education or behavioral therapy settings is preferred - Knowledge of medication administration procedures and medical terminology is advantageous - Strong skills in patient care, data collection, and documentation are essential - Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team - Relevant certifications or training in ABA therapy or related fields are a plus but not mandatory - Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality in all aspects of client care Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: - Casual dress - Dental care - On-site parking Experience: - ABA: 2 years (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2okmm2
