General Labour - Electronics Disassembler (Scarborough)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electronics Disassembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for disassembling various types of electronic equipment and components, ensuring that all parts are sorted with care and precision. This role requires a strong understanding of, computer and electronic hardware. The Disassembler will play a crucial part in our operations by preparing components for recycling or refurbishment. Responsibilities - Sorting mixed boxes into categories while removing batteries, paper, ink toners, and cutting cables off of related material - Quality control of all outputs, ensuring objects and materials are properly categorized and dispersed of - Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that all parts are sorted and labeled appropriately. - Collaborate with team members to improve disassembly processes and efficiency. - Follow all safety guidelines while working. Skills - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for disassembly tasks. - Familiarity with electronic and computer hardware. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Must be able to stay focused. - Must be a quick learner (decision maker). - Must be able to pick and sort in a fast manner with excellent accuracy. - Must be able to perform repeated tasks/actions.
