Aba Instructor Therapist (after school or weekends) Scarborough / Markham / Pickering - Part time Nexus Therapy is looking for skilled Instructor Therapists to provide aba therapy services to children in the home and school setting. Candidates are responsible for implementing treatment plans for preschool and school age children, and adolescents (ages 0-18) under BCBA / RBA supervision. Rate: - Starting rate: $60.00 per therapy visit (2 hours) Schedule: - After School therapy sesssions are a minimum of 2 hrs from 4:30-6:30 or 5:00-7:00 pm - Weekend visits (optional) are a minimum of 3 hrs from 9:00-12:00 or 1:00-4:00 pm. Key Responsibilities: - Implement the ABA therapy program related to the needs and goals of the client under BCBA supervision - Support client goals through implementing strategies and monitoring progress. - Data Collection and communication with BCBA. - Maintain a good rapport with the interdisciplinary team, including the family. - Create and maintain a healthy and positive environment for the client to promote progress. - Provide consultation and education to the family regarding the client's needs and goals. - Create optimal opportunities for learning by including the family into the therapy sessions. - Candidates must adhere to the policies and procedures of the company. Qualifications: - Educational and or Clinical background in applied behavioural analysis - Experience implementing ABA teaching strategies with children ASD and learning disabilities. - Excellent communication and analytical skills along with robust organizational abilities. - Enthusiastic with the ability to connect with children and work successfully within the team. - Independent, self motivated, yet willing to accept guidance and feedback from Supervisors. - Valid Drivers License and access to vehicle during working hours. - Available to work during the day, evenings, and optional weekends. - Vulnerable Sectors Check - Permanent Residency status in Ontario website: Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $30.00 per hour Application question(s): - Do you have permanent residency status in Ontario?
