Line Cook (Oakridge)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to order, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced restaurant workplace. The Line Cook will play a vital part in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing guests with delicious meals and excellent service. Responsibilities - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards - Assist with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients - Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations and sanitation standards - Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts - Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction - Collaborate with team members to manage kitchen workflow during busy periods - Follow proper food safety protocols at all times to prevent contamination or spoilage - Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages Experience - Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred - Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation - Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures - Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is advantageous - Strong understanding of the food industry, including restaurant operations and customer service skills - Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills within a professional kitchen while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
