Dental Assistant Level II (Scarborough)

Certified Dental Assistant Level II – Part-Time Location: Scarborough, ON Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and every Saturday Job Description We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and experienced Certified Dental Assistant Level II to join our dental practice in Scarborough. The successful candidate will support our dentists in providing excellent patient care, assist with daily clinical procedures, maintain proper infection control standards, and help create a welcoming and comfortable experience for our patients. Because of the community we serve and the location of our practice, the ability to speak Filipino/Tagalog is considered a strong asset and is preferred. The candidate must also be able to communicate clearly and professionally in English. Responsibilities - Assist the dentist during dental procedures and examinations - Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before appointments - Take digital dental radiographs in accordance with regulations - Perform Level II duties, including polishing, fluoride application, sealants, and impressions, as permitted - Use and assist with an intraoral scanner for digital impressions and related procedures - Follow proper sterilization, infection prevention, and safety protocols - Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes - Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit - Support efficient patient flow and teamwork within the office Qualifications - Certified Dental Assistant Level II qualification in Ontario - HARP certification required - Previous dental assisting experience preferred - Experience using an intraoral scanner is required or strongly preferred - Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures - Must be able to communicate effectively in English - Ability to speak Filipino/Tagalog is strongly preferred due to our patient community - Qualified, dependable, organized, and patient-focused - Ability to work well in a busy team environment Schedule Requirement The candidate must be available to work: - Tuesday - Wednesday - Friday - Every Saturday What We Offer - Friendly and supportive work environment - Opportunity to work with a growing dental practice - Consistent weekly schedule - Competitive compensation based on experience Pay: From $25.00 per hour Benefits: - Company events - Dental care - Flexible schedule - On-site parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p00hb
