Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our client's manufacturing team in Scarborough, OLN. In this role, you will operate and monitor production equipment to ensure the consistent manufacturing of high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. This role requires you to be safety-focused, able to work both independently and as part of a team, and capable of maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a dynamic workplace. - Pay Rate: $19.77 (+ 0.80 - 1.15 premium) based on shift - Location: Scarborough, ON - Shifts: Afternoons: 3:00pm - 11:00pm | Midnights 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (starting Sunday at 11:00 PM) - Job type: Long term contract | Full time | Temporary to permanent - Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy. Here's why you should apply: - Paid weekly accurate and on time - Strong health and safety programs - Medical and dental benefits once qualified - Free training programs - New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities: - Follow all health and safety policies and procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment - Operate and monitor one or more semi-automatic or automatic processing units - Set up and adjust packaging and processing equipment as required - Monitor gauges, signals, scales, and product consistency (e.g., colour, viscosity) - Perform basic chemical or physical testing during production processes - Record data accurately on batch cards and follow quality control (QC) procedures - Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance of equipment - Use scanning devices to complete accurate inventory transactions - Work efficiently to meet production targets and timelines - Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors - Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership Qualifications and Skills: - High School Diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent - Strong basic math skills (including volumetric and mass calculations) - Knowledge of WHMIS/GHS and spill clean-up procedures - Experience working with hazardous, flammable, or chemical materials (asset) - Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Prior forklift experience is an asset - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, or night shifts as required - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs - Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada Are you interested in this position?
