Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and effective Expeditor to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that orders are processed quickly and accurately, facilitating communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of hospitality. Duties - Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery. - Ensure that all dishes meet quality standards before serving. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including kitchen and dining spaces. - Support food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to prioritize orders and address any issues that arise during service. - Provide excellent customer service by helping guests with inquiries and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable. Skills - Strong background in hospitality and food service, with experience in meal preparation preferred. - Knowledge of food handling practices to maintain safety and hygiene standards. - Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective interaction between kitchen staff and customers. - A proactive approach to cleaning and maintaining workspaces for optimal efficiency.
