Security Guard (Port Perry)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who is skilled in surveillance and loss prevention, with the ability to respond effectively to incidents as they arise. Duties - Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. - Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and facilities. - Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies. - Enforce rules and regulations to prevent unauthorized access. - Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary. - Document incidents and prepare reports as required. - Provide excellent customer service while interacting with the public. Requirements - Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or loss prevention is preferred. - G2 or G License with own Vehicle - Strong observational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods. - Valid security guard license or certification may be required based on local regulations.
