District Sales Manager (Durham)

Creative Outdoor Advertising, a leader in outdoor signage for over 40 years, is looking for an extremely motivated and results-driven full-time District Sales Manager for the Durham Region, Ontario area to sell advertising space on streetscape benches to the local small business community. Compensation & Schedule Our pay structure is competitive, and performance driven. We offer a minimum guaranteed salary of $50,000 for the first 12 months while getting established in the role, with the built-in incentive to earn more with commissions. Expected first-year earnings are $60,000-$70,000 with room to increase. A successful sales rep will bring in long-term earnings of $100,000+ by their second to third year and there is the prospect for continued growth. This position works predominantly remotely from your home office alongside fieldwork in your local territory. The schedule is Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Position Overview Based out of your home office the role is to find local advertising clients through networking and cold calling (in person, phone call, and email). Focusing on small businesses like dentists, restaurants, real estate agents, lawyers, etc. Candidates must be comfortable with cold calling and approaching local businesses. This is how you will generate the majority of your sales. For a 1-year agreement including artwork at $101-$198 per month for a bench - our ad spaces are one of the most cost-effective ways for local businesses to communicate with potential customers in their area! Territory Durham Region and nearby surrounding areas: - The territory covers a number of areas around Durham Region including Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, Oshawa, Clarington, Uxbridge, Port Perry, Peterborough, & Kawartha Lakes. Knowledge of the area and territory along with the local businesses in it would be an asset.
