Licensed 310T Mechanic

on behalf of a well-respected client based in Port Perry, Ontario. This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary of $79,000 and the opportunity to work with a trusted name in the Heavy Equipment and Truck Repair industry. The successful candidate will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles and equipment, from light-duty pickups to heavy construction machinery. Pay Rate: $79k/year. Location: Port Perry, ON Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

Performing repair and maintenance on heavy trucks and light-duty pickup trucks Inspecting bulldozers, excavators, skid-steers, and similar heavy equipment for faults and malfunctions Using computerized diagnostic tools to assess internal combustion engines (gas and diesel) Adjusting and repairing or replacing parts, components, or systems using hand and power toolsTesting equipment to ensure performance meets manufacturer specifications Conducting MTO yearly safety inspections Performing routine cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance Responding to occasional on-call emergencies when required

Requirements:

Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada. Valid 310T Mechanic License (Ontario) Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of diesel and gas engines Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team Strong attention to detail with safety and quality in mindValid Ontario Driver's License Own hand tools (up to 3/4") Reliable transportation and punctuality
