Designer and assistant (Durham)

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our growing renovation and landscaping team. The ideal candidate will have experience in: - Residential renovation design - Interlock and landscape design - Creating layouts, concepts, and material selections - Assisting with project coordination on job sites - Communicating with clients and trades Responsibilities: - Meet with clients to discuss project ideas and requirements - Assist in designing renovation and interlock projects - Prepare sketches, layouts, and design concepts - Visit job sites to assist with measurements, organization, and progress oversight - Help ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently - Coordinate with crews, suppliers, and contractors when needed Requirements: - Experience in renovation and/or landscape/interlock design - Robust communication and organizational skills - Ability to read drawings and visualize layouts - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred - Knowledge of construction practices is an asset - Self-motivated This is a great opportunity to grow with a company involved in high-end renovations, outdoor living spaces, and custom projects.
