Position Summary The Panel Assembly Technician is responsible for supporting the production and assembly of large-format door panels. This role involves CNC-assisted processing, sanding, trimming, insulation preparation, and assembly to produce high-quality door panels that meet Artema’s exacting standards. Key Responsibilities - Work collaboratively with the team in the large-format door panel department - Trim fiberglass (FG) skins to size and sand FG skins and insulation panels to correct thickness using CNC machinery - Process LVL (laminated veneer lumber) materials using CNC equipment as required - Assist in assembling and pressing door panels - Support the production of fiberglass skins for door panels - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment - Contribute ideas to improve workflow, efficiency, and quality Continuous Improvement & Culture Artema promotes a respectful, collaborative, and continuous improvement culture. Qualifications & Skills - Experience in manufacturing, woodworking, CNC operation, or assembly is an asset - Comfort working with CNC machinery (training provided if needed) - Ability to handle detailed sanding, trimming, and assembly tasks - Strong attention to detail and quality standards - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Physically capable of standing for extended periods and handling materials safely - Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace Job Type: Full time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Benefits: - Extended health care Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ou53p
